Congratulations to Columbia School District Liaison Officers Kayla Dean and Josh Hudson, recipients of the Superintendents Award! We are excited to kickoff another school year partnering with Officers Hudson and Dean of the Columbia Township Police Department.
Great Start Readiness Program in Jackson County is currently accepting applications for 3 and 4-year-old children for the 2023-2024 school year. Children must be 4 years old by September 1, 2023, to qualify for the Great Start Readiness Program and 3 years old by December 1, 2023, to qualify for Head Start.

The Columbia Central Athletics Boosters meeting will be held this Thursday, Aug 10th, in the CCHS Media Center at 5:00 p.m.
We will be going over the fall concessions schedule and future fundraising plans. The boosters club contributed $25,000 worth of donations this last school year!
We would love to see some new faces and have some new volunteers. We hope to see you there!
Last call for youth competitive cheerleading registration! Registration dates are Tuesday, August 15th, and Wednesday, August 16th, from 5-7 pm in the high school cafeteria.
Open gym for 7th/8th-grade girls volleyball on August 10th & 17th 4:00-5:00 pm.
Tryouts will be the week of August 28th. Students must have a sports physical dated after April 15th to try out.

CCHS Volleyball Tryouts! Begin Monday, August 7th at 9 am, August 8th at 5 pm, and Wednesday at 5 pm. Must attend all three days of tryouts. Must have a current physical. Call CCHS for more information.
