Columbia School District teachers love their students!πππ¦
The love a teacher has for their students is very unique. They treat children like they would treat their own child. This picture is a symbol of that love. This Little Eagle knows her teacher truly loves her. β₯οΈππ

Jackson County teachers have been making a positive impact on the lives of their students for many years. While we are not able to have our Awards event at this time due to the Stay Home order, we are honoring these amazing teachers virtually. Congratulations to Columbia Elementary teacher Amanda Aguilera!

- Savanna Spindelman
π"Almost every successful person begins with two beliefs:
1 - The future can be better than the present, and
2 - I have the power to do so"π
During times like these, we all need to look toward the bright side, and understand that we all have the power to make the future better than the past ever was.
It's easy to fall into a rut, and feel like you are powerless, or that things may never be the same again. But we all have to believe and use the power that we have to design our own destiny.
I found this quote today and it really hits home with what the world, and I personally, am dealing with during this pandemic:
"Be stubborn about your goals, and flexible about your methods"
When you set a goal for yourself, you must follow through with it - but sometimes that goal is not achieved the same way you believed it would when you first made that goal. That is perfectly alright - The world is constantly changing, and so are we. You never know; maybe you will find that you can dream larger or you can find a more specific dream/goal to follow.
The world is ours, we all can make it into whatever we want - and a little bump in the road will make those who believe in their dreams to believe much stronger in their dream, and to focus on it harder than ever before.
Keep dreaming and keep setting goals for yourself.
