This is an interesting idea from a friend: This is something I want to start, to. keep a "Blessing bag" in my car, in case I find someone in need. You can make these up with items from the Dollar Tree such as gloves, thermal socks, beef sticks, crackers, candy bars, toothpaste, toothbrush, wipes, deodorant, snacks and other items that may help someone who is homeless or in a bad way. It is just a thoughtful, inspiring thing to do. This is something we are going to start doing from now on. Thank you to the ones that did this long before us, for being such a giving, loving, caring person! Random acts of kindness take very little to change the life of just one person 🙂

Our teachers make learning so much fun that our little eagles don't even know how hard they are working. They are making clouds in science, earning AR points for reading, writing in shaving cream, learning math with friends and of course let's not forget how much we love recess!

In an abundance of caution and a spirit of transparency Columbia Central High School and Options High School buildings will attend virtually this week, there will be no in person attendance. Read emails carefully for instructions. CUES and CES are open.

Quote of the Day: “Compassion asks us to go where it hurts, to enter into the places of pain, to share in brokenness, fear, confusion, and anguish. Compassion challenges us to cry out with those in misery, to mourn with those who are lonely, to weep with those in tears. Compassion requires us to be weak with the weak, vulnerable with the vulnerable, and powerless with the powerless. Compassion means full immersion in the condition of being human.” ― Henri J.M.
