This is an interesting idea from a friend:
This is something I want to start, to. keep a "Blessing bag" in my car, in case I find someone in need. You can make these up with items from the Dollar Tree such as gloves, thermal socks, beef sticks, crackers, candy bars, toothpaste, toothbrush, wipes, deodorant, snacks and other items that may help someone who is homeless or in a bad way. It is just a thoughtful, inspiring thing to do. This is something we are going to start doing from now on. Thank you to the ones that did this long before us, for being such a giving, loving, caring person! Random acts of kindness take very little to change the life of just one person 🙂

Our teachers make learning so much fun that our little eagles don't even know how hard they are working. They are making clouds in science, earning AR points for reading, writing in shaving cream, learning math with friends and of course let's not forget how much we love recess!

Mrs. O'Neil and Mrs. Klink will send the details in an email regarding when and how Columbia Central Jr. Sr. High School and Options High School students will be able to pick up school work on Monday, October 12th, if you left any necessary items in your building.

Due to the closure at Columbia Central Jr. Sr. High School and Options High School, the Columbia Food Service Department will have a breakfast/lunch pickup with five days of meals for in person students on Monday, October 12th, between 10 am and 11 am at Columbia Central Jr. – Sr. High School parent pick up area. Virtual students will continue to pick up their breakfast/lunches on Wednesdays between 10 am and 11 am at Columbia Central.

In an abundance of caution and a spirit of transparency Columbia Central High School and Options High School buildings will attend virtually this week, there will be no in person attendance. Read emails carefully for instructions. CUES and CES are open.

Be Kind.

Quote of the Day:
“Compassion asks us to go where it hurts, to enter into the places of pain, to share in brokenness, fear, confusion, and anguish.
Compassion challenges us to cry out with those in misery, to mourn with those who are lonely, to weep with those in tears.
Compassion requires us to be weak with the weak, vulnerable with the vulnerable, and powerless with the powerless. Compassion means full immersion in the condition of being human.”
