Nominate a Teacher of the Year- Parents and students: Jackson Magazine is now accepting 2024 Top Teacher Award nominations. The due date for 2024 nominations is October 13, 2023.

Columbia Central's junior class is hosting a Beef Raffle to raise funds for prom, float building, and other class expenses. The beef is locally raised and graciously donated by the Choate Family. Please spread the word and email Robyn.Hall@myeagles.org if you'd like a ticket! Tickets are $20.00 each, and four winners will be drawn on September 22nd around halftime of the homecoming game! Congratulations to Columbia School District Liaison Officers Kayla Dean and Josh Hudson, recipients of the Superintendents Award! We are excited to kickoff another school year partnering with Officers Hudson and Dean of the Columbia Township Police Department.

Great Start Readiness Program in Jackson County is currently accepting applications for 3 and 4-year-old children for the 2023-2024 school year. Children must be 4 years old by September 1, 2023, to qualify for the Great Start Readiness Program and 3 years old by December 1, 2023, to qualify for Head Start. https://greatstartjackson.wildapricot.org/

The Columbia Central Athletics Boosters meeting will be held this Thursday, Aug 10th, in the CCHS Media Center at 5:00 p.m. We will be going over the fall concessions schedule and future fundraising plans. The boosters club contributed $25,000 worth of donations this last school year! We would love to see some new faces and have some new volunteers. We hope to see you there!
