Columbia Elementary School: One Vote, Two Votes, I Vote, You Vote. A book by Dr. Seuss. We are learning about the 2020 Presidential Election in the CES library this week. Our little eagles get to fill out their ballot and they get an I voted sticker and a book mark.

From the Food Bank: "Beauty where you Live" File: Tuesday (10/27/2020) morning 2 women were having coffee at Callaghan's. They were approached by another woman who handed them a $100 bill. They asked, "Why?" She answered: "My husband recently passed and I have extra money." The 2 women came into the food pantry and gave it to us. They said they were "paying it forward". All we can EVER do, is PAY-IT-FORWARD. Blessings...

Congratulations CCHS Golden Eagle JV Volleyball 🏐! They defeated Hudson tonight! 💙🦅💛🏐

💙🦅💛🏀It’s time for some basketball!! Junior high 7th and 8th grade boys will begin tryouts on Monday October 26th in the Junior High Gym (Fitness Center). Players will need to be in the gym and dressed ready to start by 2:55. Please remember that all players will need to wear masks to tryouts. In order to participate in the tryouts you have to have a physical on file with the school. **REMINDER** If you had a physical last year one is not required per MHSAA however you will need to get a waiver and have it turned in to the school prior to tryouts Monday. If you can get your player a physical, please do. A lot can happen over a years time especially at these ages.

The 💙🦅💛 CUES robotics team is off to a great start. Our team members from last year were mentoring our new team members in some programming basics including block commands, sensor feedback, if/then/else logic, and some basic loops. Its a great day to be a Golden Eagle!

Although they didn’t get to have a “last game” due to unforeseen circumstances, we would like to congratulate our 💙🦅💛 Columbia Golden Eagle 🦅 JV team on a great season! We couldn’t be prouder of their determination and dedication 🤩
