We want to let you know about an exciting opportunity available for all Jackson County students and parents. A FREE college will be held this Thursday night, April 23, from 5:30 to 7:00 at Northwest High School.
From 5:00-5:30 representatives from the College and Career Access Center will be presenting in the Commons area on the topic, “College Planning for Juniors: What Can I Do Now?” This session will give valuable information to all students concerning the college application process. This presentation will be especially helpful to juniors.
From 5:30-7:00, representatives from over 40 colleges, universities, trade schools, and military branches from Michigan and surrounding states, will be available in the gym to meet with students and parents and answer any questions you may have about their schools and programs.
All students MUST pre-register for the college fair using the web address. Pre-registering saves you so much time, and is a requirement of the College Fair program. Parents can also register.

Freshmen and Sophomores: this is a chance for you to start exploring your post high school options and to learn what expectations colleges have for their admissions process.
Juniors: You can begin researching college options and start the application process.
Seniors: You can take this opportunity to meet with the representative from the school you plan to attend to ask any final questions about class registration, student orientation, and financial aid concerns.
We look forward to seeing you Thursday night at Northwest High School from 5:00-7:00.
