Columbia School District teachers, administrators and staff collaborated together today to continue to develop the Strategic Plan that will be put in place in January. The strategic planning process is a cooperative effort between the Michigan Association of School Boards, the Michigan Department of Education Michigan Integrated Continuous Improvement Process, and Columbia School District. In addition, the school improvement support personnel from the Jackson County Intermediate School District are supporting our work.
Columbia School District parents, students, community members, staff and teachers have all contributed to the strategic planning process through our survey and by attending our focus group sessions. The strategic planning process will produce a document and pathway to systemic improvement.
