Columbia Options Students and Families:

Starting with the 26/27 school year, the Options program will look different from prior years. The building on North Lake Road will no longer be used; instead, the program will shift to Columbia Jr/Sr High School. 

With the change in physical location comes changes to the structure of the academic program as well. The district will offer two learning opportunities to meet the needs of all our students. The first opportunity is to learn fully virtual from home, with support from our program coordinator. The second option is to be in person in a classroom at Columbia Central Jr/Sr High School using the virtual platform.

We will also be utilizing a new virtual platform called Edmentum, which is similar to prior virtual platforms but also includes a live teacher that is available for students to contact to receive support when needed.

We will be holding an informational meeting on Tuesday, August 18th at 6 pm in the Media Center located at Columbia Central Jr/Sr High School. This meeting will be an opportunity for Columbia School District administrators to outline and explain more in-depth the changes mentioned above.
