There will be three (3) Columbia School District Board of Education seats up for election in the upcoming November election.

For any incumbent or interested community member wishing to run for office, please note the following critical deadlines and requirements established by the County Elections Clerk:

• Official Filing Deadline: Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

  Candidates must file an Affidavit of Identity along with either a Nominating Petition or a $100 non-refundable filing fee with the County Clerk.

• Write-In Candidate Deadline: Friday, October 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

  Write-in candidates must officially file their Declaration of Intent by this date for their votes to be counted.
