We are thrilled to announce that yesterday, May 5th, the Columbia School District community voted to approve our 2026 Bond Proposal. On behalf of our Board of Education, administration, staff, and—most importantly—our students, thank you!
Your support ensures that we can move forward with vital projects, including the new enclosed corridor connecting our elementary buildings, the renovation of the Columbia Central auditorium, and significant upgrades to our athletic facilities and district-wide infrastructure.
We are proud that our community recognized the value of this $14.8 million initiative, which allows us to modernize our schools with no net increase to the current tax rate. This successful vote is a testament to our shared commitment to providing a safe, top-tier learning environment for every student.
While the celebration is just beginning, the work starts now! We are committed to transparency and will keep you updated every step of the way as we move into the design and construction phases. You can expect regular updates on our website and Facebook as these projects come to life.
This wasn’t just a win for the school district; it was a win for the entire Columbia community. When we invest in our schools, we invest in the strength and future of our neighborhoods.
Thank you for your trust, your vote, and your Golden Eagle Pride. Together, we are building a brighter future for Columbia Schools!
