As we approach the May 5th Bond election, we will continue to highlight the various areas of our District that could see significant upgrades to support Columbia Kids. Our youngest learners will have:
A Safer Connection: A new enclosed corridor will connect our lower and upper elementary buildings, ensuring students and staff remain protected from the elements and within a secure perimeter throughout the school day.
Space to Grow: We will add new classrooms to the lower elementary building to address our growing student population and keep class sizes manageable.
Creative Repurposing: We aren't just building "new"—we are building "smart." Unused locker rooms in the upper elementary will be transformed into vibrant, multi-use learning spaces for collaborative projects and specialized instruction.
