As you begin to plan your back-to-school shopping for the 2025-2026 school year, we want to share an important reminder about our school's dress code. Our ongoing goal is to foster a safe, respectful, and distraction-free learning environment for every student.
Please take a moment to review the key points of our dress code below and discuss them with your student before the first day of school. Your cooperation helps ensure all students are ready to learn, be respectful of their peers, and be responsible for their environment.
General Clothing Guidelines:
Tops must have straps or sleeves and must cover the entire torso from armpit to armpit.
Shorts must fully cover the buttocks while sitting or standing.
Clothing must not contain images, logos, or messages that are:
Obscene, lewd, or sexually explicit
Related to illegal substances (including those illegal for minors)
Inciting violence or threats
Associated with hate groups or hate speech
Disruptive to the school environment
Additional Expectations:
Headwear (hats, hoods, visors, sunglasses, etc.) is not permitted during school hours unless for designated spirit days.
Backpacks, coats, and blankets must be stored in lockers and may not be brought into classrooms or the cafeteria.
We understand that self-expression is an important part of student life. Our dress code policy is designed to strike a balance between individual expression and our shared responsibility to create a positive and productive school climate for everyone. Thank you for your support in upholding these standards. We look forward to a successful school year!
