This is an exciting, but challenging time in education. Our staff and students need support. On May 2, 2023, Columbia Schools will place a non-homestead millage on the ballot. We are required to this to maintain current funding.  It is not a new tax, it is a zero tax increase for homeowners.  Non-homestead means this is a tax on businesses and second homes, and does not include a family’s primary residence.  This millage guarantees that Columbia would continue to receive funding from the State for general operating costs.
