Summer classes ( JULY)

The Columbia Community Fitness center is expanding and offering Fitness Center classes to anyone 12+ of age. We will be having a Spin, HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training ), and Yoga/Stretch Class. The classes will be $2/per class and will be a duration of 30 minutes.

Our Yoga/Stretch class will take place on Tuesday mornings: July 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th from 8:30-9 am.
 Benefits of Yoga: You gain balance, and flexibility, increase range of motion, coordination, and injury prevention to name a few.

Our Spin class ( limited to the first 13 to sign-up) will take place on Wednesdays mornings: July 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 9-9:30 am.
Benefits of Spin: Low-impact cardio training, improves mental and physical health, builds leg strength, and speed, and increases cardio.

Our HIIT class will take place on Wednesday nights: July 13th and 20th from 4-4:30 pm.
Benefits of HIIT: increases speed, burns more fat, increases VO2, builds muscles, and is a full-body workout wrapped in one.

If the classes take off and the youth enjoy them, we will continue through August and a new schedule will be sent out.

We encourage everyone to wear workout shoes and bring a water bottle.
