We celebrate the holidays with many traditions. Here are some of our family traditions at CES:
“We get together and make tamales. It is my mother’s recipe. Then we eat them!” Mrs. Berkemeier
“We celebrate advent each night at our kitchen table. We all take turns reading stories for 25 days.” Mrs. Ladd
“Our family hides a green pickle in our Christmas tree. The first person to find it, opens the first present on Christmas morning.” Mrs. Wright
“We go to the Toledo Christmas Zoo lights and then we always stop at Starbucks to get fancy coffee.” Ms. Hogle
“We always go and cut down our Christmas tree, drink hot chocolate and ride the wagon back.” Mrs. Lape
“We always have a Prime Rib dinner on Christmas Day!” Ms. Cindy
“On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve we always eat shrimp.” Mrs. Aguilera
“We set up our tree together. We all have personalized ornaments we hang on the tree.” Mrs. Sexton
