The Columbia Central Robotics Team would like to invite all high school students interested in joining the team to our organizational meeting tomorrow evening from 6-8p.m. in room 138, located in the junior high wing. No experience is necessary to join the team for this 6-week intensive build season. Kids will learn real-world skills in engineering, CAD, wiring, fabrication, programming and more, while gaining access to millions of dollars in scholarship money and preferred college and job entry. Our school is taking part in the Michigan profile for healthy use Survey supported by the Michigan Department of Education and Community Health. The research survey will ask about the health behaviors of 7th, 9th and 11th grade students and will include questions regarding nutrition, physical activity, and substance abuse. It will also ask about sexual behaviors. Students will have the opportunity to take the survey on December 14. If you object to your child’s participation in the survey please complete the opt out form which is available on our website. You will only need to return the form if you do not give your child permission to take the survey.
