Help support our leadership students "stuff the bus" in front of the Brooklyn Country Market from December 6 -8. Our students will collect cans and monetary donations and deliver all donated items to our Brooklyn Food Pantry in time for the holiday season.

Our junior high robotics team, the Silver Sprockets competed in their last qualifier this weekend with one of the highest-scoring robots in the state, bringing home the coveted Controls Award. Unfortunately, their alliance was edged out in the semi-finals and just missed qualifying for the state competition by one spot. They had an amazing season! Great job Junior High Robotics!
Come support our high school leadership students as they ring the bell for the Salvation Army on December 14 from 10 am - 6 pm in front of the Brooklyn Country Market. There is a friendly competition with Jackson Northwest on who can collect the most amount of money on that day. The winning ringers will be treated to lunch by the Salvation Army, but more importantly, will be able to add the power of service to their holiday season.

Mark your calendars! Be ready to be swept away with the sounds of the season by the Columbia Central High School Band! Our talented high school musicians have been working hard to prepare a festive program filled with holiday classics and heartwarming melodies. The holiday concert will take place on December 17 at 6 pm.

On Friday, the high school Student Senate and Leadership groups did their annual "Rake and Run' community service project. The students helped 10 community members with the leaves in their yards. Every day is a great day to be a Golden Eagle!

On Monday, November 11th, Columbia Central Jr. Sr. High will honor our Veterans. We invite all veterans in our school community to join us in sharing the importance of service with our students. Mrs. Liebau's Anatomy class learned about the heart's structure by dissecting deer hearts.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, with a little help from the media center staff, a gratitude poster was put up in the junior high hallway. Mrs. Daniel's 7th-grade Character Strong and Spanish students put on the leaves with gratitude statements written on them.
