We are going to celebrate Reading Month in March!📚 Please check out this important information from Mrs. Wallace-
Dear Columbia Families,
The National Junior Honor Society and Student Council will complete a service project to celebrate reading during March ‘Book Madness’. We are asking for donations for giveaways during reading events throughout the month of March, the items will also be used as a fundraiser to purchase new library books.
If you are willing to donate, please check out the signup. We need some items for the first week in March, however, giveaways take place throughout the month and the week following spring break. The snacks will help get our initiative started as we plan to sell them throughout the rest of the year. We appreciate your support!
Additionally, all students in the 7th and 8th grade ELA classes will have the opportunity to visit the Jackson District Library Book Mobile on Friday, March 4th and 11th. Your child is invited to register for a Jackson District Library Youth card. They are not required to register for a card, but we hope that they will since this card will provide full access to an abundance of online resources and borrow one book per visit from the bookmobile. Please review this document for more information. A letter will come home today.

Current 10th and 11th or 12th grade students and their families are invited to attend the Jackson Area Career Center Open House on February 24 from 4-7 PM. This is a great opportunity to learn more about their programs.

Best wishes to our students participating in the Bowling Regionals!
