We're proud of our Columbia students who participated in Trig-Star, a national program sponsored by the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). The local chapter of NSPS awards money to the top three winners for each school. Congratulations to Logan (1st place), Cameron (2nd place), and Nikolai (3rd place). CCJH/HS presents the Mish Mash Art Show on 5/14 at 7 PM and 5/15 at 2 PM.
This event includes a play and the opportunity to visit our student art show.
Tickets are $5 for entrance to the play. Please join us for this special event!

On Friday, the Leadership class in alliance with the Jackson County Relay for Life program and the American Cancer Society will host the 17th annual Hope Run.
We will have Food Trucks available throughout the event. Callaghan's Coffee will be available for students and staff in the morning before school.
Tickets for our carnival events are $1 each. Some events take up to 5 tickets. We will sell bracelets for $10 each which will allow students to participate in each event one time. Additional tickets / bracelets can be purchased throughout the event. Thank you for your support!

The Hope Run committee will be selling treats at lunch this week. Tuesday will be donuts, Wednesday is popcorn, and Thursday are sundaes. Students will need wrist bands to play games during the Hope Run. The wristbands are on sale during lunches, on Friday in the morning, and throughout the Hope Run. A ticket costs $1 and a wristband is $10 which gets you into all of the games. Thank you for your support!

The CCHS Prom will be held at Sauk Valley on Saturday, 8-11 PM. After Prom will take place at CCHS, 11 PM-1:30 AM. All students attending prom are encouraged to come to After Prom. The purchased prom ticket includes access to both events. Students must arrive to After Prom by 11:45 PM. Join us for fabulous free food, fun, and prizes!

On Friday, our 10-12 grade students will participate in the ThinkFast Interactive Driver Safety program. This covers Michigan's rules, regulations, penalties, along with current information on speeding, racing, and fatalities. For more information-www.ThinkFastInteractive.com.


The Columbia Central Garden Prom will be held at Sauk Valley on Saturday, 8-11 PM.
After Prom will be held at CCHS, 11 PM-1:30 AM. Students must arrive and enter After Prom by 11:45 PM. It’s open to anyone going to prom. Join us for fabulous food, fun, and prizes!


7th grade students will take the M-Step on Tuesday and Wednesday morning this week. Testing begins at 8 AM. Students should bring their Chromebook fully charged. Thank you for your support.
