On Saturday, we had many High School Band students participate in MSBOA District 8 Solo and Ensemble. These students planned out and prepared these pieces on their own time, and overall we had 9 1st Division ratings, 52nd Division ratings, and 1 comments only performance! Students and groups that received 1st division ratings are eligible for State Solo and Ensemble festival. We are very proud of all of our students who participated!
These shirts are available for purchase and the profits will go towards this years After Prom. You don’t have to be a Junior or Senior to order one. Order forms can be turned into the Columbia Central Jr./Sr. High School office. Thank you to Courtney Fausz for spearheading this fundraiser!!
The Columbia Central After Prom committee is still looking for financial or product donations for this year’s event. Please consider ordering an item from the Amazon wish list or send a financial donation into the school. This event is hosted by a small group of parents as a safe late night alternative for all students who attend prom.

All 10th grade students will visit the Jackson Area Career Center on Thursday, 2/2/23. We will be leaving CCHS at 8 AM and will return by 11 AM. Once returning to Columbia Central, students will follow their regular schedule for the remainder of the day.

The mechanical failure at CCHS: Glycol is leaking into multiple classrooms at CCHS. Glycol is a type of antifreeze in our heating system. Due to the amount of classrooms affected, we have no other choice but to cancel school today. The maintenance crew is working to remedy the situation.
Due to a mechanical failure in the heating system at the high school, Columbia School District is canceling all classes at all buildings today. Childcare will be open.

Congratulations to our CC Voices program and Morgan who scored a perfect 30 at Solo and Ensemble in Eaton Rapids today. Morgan earned a rating of one which qualifies her for the state competition!!! Way to go Morgan and CC Voices!
Columbia School District ❄️⛄️ is closed today, Thursday, January 26, due to unsafe driving conditions and slippery roads. Child care will be open.
Due to the inclement weather, ❄️⛄️🥶 the Columbia Community Fitness Center will be closed this afternoon and evening. It will reopen on Thursday morning.
