
There will be a meeting for of those interested in sideline cheerleading during Golden Eagle hour on Wednesday to discuss off season activities and tryouts. This is open to all 7th-11th graders. Boys are able to participate in sideline cheerleading.

Columbia Golden Gears have received an official invitation to the state competition this coming weekend!!! They will be competing at Saginaw Valley State University on April 6-8. The Golden Gears are the highest-ranked robotics team in Jackson County!
Also, the team captain, Zac Babcock, was just notified that he is the recipient of the FIRST Robotics scholarship from Kettering University. This is a highly competitive scholarship that is only given to a small handful of incoming Kettering freshmen each year!!
Way to go CC Robotics and Zac! We are so proud of your hard work and success!

Columbia Central High School presents Willy Wonka! CCHS Auditorium March 17th and 18th at 7 pm. March 19th at 2 pm! Tickets: Students and Seniors $7, Adults $10. Family of four $30 ($5 for each additional member). Children under 5 are free!

High School softball tryouts will be Wednesday-Friday from 3-5 pm in the main gym. You must have a physical dated on or after April 15, 2022, on file with the Athletic Office to participate.

Congratulations Lilah and Catherine for earning Academic All-State honors! The CCHS Cheer team as a whole earned Academic All-State Honorable Mention! We are so proud of our athlete’s hard work on the mat and in the classroom! Way to go CC!


Congratulations CCJH Academic Games Team!
The team earned second place in On-Words and Equations and an honorable mention in Current Events. They also received Regional First place in Saturday Tournaments for the team average and Regional Third Place for the top five! What a fantastic accomplishment! Way to go CC!


Reminder: Monday, March 13 is a full day of school for all Columbia School District students. There will be no Jackson Area Career Center classes on March 13th.

Baseball practice will be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:00 pm in the high school gym for any boy in grades 9-12 interested in playing this year. You must have a physical dated on or after April 15, 2022 on file with the Athletic Office to participate. ⚾️🧢
