The Academic Games Team participated in the 49th annual Academic Games Super Tournament in Ann Arbor this past weekend. Both the High School Junior team and the Junior High Middle team took home trophies. The high school team won a bronze trophy for the Presidents Game and the junior high team earned third place in their division playing the On-Sets Game! We are so proud of your hard work and success! Congratulations CC Golden Gears! We are so proud of your hard work and success! The Golden Gears won the FIRST Impact Award at the Muskegon event! The FIRST Impact Award is the most prestigious award at FIRST, it honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST. It was created to keep the focus of FIRST Robotics Competition on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encouraging more of today’s youth to become science and technology leaders. It’s a great day to be a Golden Gear!
