The Columbia Academic Games Teams are collecting returnable bottles and cans to raise money to attend the State Super Tournament. Please take any donations to Brooklyn Presbyterian Church Parking Lot on Saturday, January 27th between 10am-1pm. Thank you so much for your donation.

The CCAC will be hosting a Virtual County Workshop on Wednesday, January 17th at 6 PM. In this workshop, you will learn about local scholarship opportunities and have the chance to create your personal Scholarship Action Plan. Jackson Community Foundation Scholarships - 1 application can apply students for up to 5 scholarships of various amounts -
Jackson Legacy Scholarship - $1,000 for students attending Jackson College, Baker College in Jackson, or Spring Arbor University - included in the JCF Scholarship Application
Sigmund Foundation Scholarship - up to $5,000 - one application for students going to a traditional 2- or 4-year institution and one application for students going into the trades
John George Loan - up to $6,000 with a 2% interest rate (note: even though this is a loan we still talk about it with the students.

This is a reminder that JH Girls Basketball starts tomorrow, January 8th. Tryouts and practices will run from 3-4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 3-4:00 pm on Friday. Tryouts will be Monday - Wednesday. All players MUST have a physical on file in the Athletic Office to participate.
Additionally, tomorrow after tryouts the teams will stay for the JV and Varsity Games. Coaches will provide pizza and tickets as we cheer on the HS teams.

We look forward to welcoming back students and staff on Monday, January 8th! On Monday, we will celebrate the Michigan Wolverines with a Back to School, Go Blue Day, cheering them on for the upcoming National Championship Game! Students and staff are invited to wear Michigan gear! 💙💛 See you soon!
