The Golden Gears Robotics team has had an exciting weekend of competition. There is still time to come cheer them on today! The First Robotics event is taking place now until 5:30 PM at Columbia Central! After the event today, we would love any community support to help with the taking down/clean up of the Robotics field. Please meet at 6 PM in the CCHS gym if you can volunteer. Congratulations to the CC Golden Gears for hosting and participating in this amazing event this weekend!

Today we were able to celebrate our Girls Bowling Team being Regional Champions and heading to State along with our individual wrestlers who are competing in the State Finals meet. Good Luck to everyone.

Tomorrow is Blue and Gold Day for Winter Homecoming!!💙💛 Student events on Friday include:
7:45-9 AM, Senior Breakfast at Brooklyn Big Boy and CCJH/HS pep assembly to end the school day! There will be a high school dance after the basketball game until 11 PM. The cost will be $5.
We invite our community to join us for the home basketball game featuring our homecoming court. JV begins at 5:30 and Varsity immediately follows. Let's go Golden Eagles!

Senior Breakfast is Friday, Feb. 9th at the Brooklyn Big Boy. This is free to our seniors and we are looking forward to this fun event! Students may drive to the event and must return to school directly following. AM Career Center students will be excused. Bus transportation will be provided for those who signed up. Please meet at Big Boy by 7:45am.

There will be a preseason parent/player meeting next Wednesday, February 14th at 6:00 pm in the High School Library for any 9-12th grade girl interested in playing in the spring. Please contact Coach Hosmer with any questions. ⚽
CCVC had a great performance at the 7th Annual Columbia Central Cheer for Charity Invitational at home on Friday night, earning a season high score in round one. After putting in a few more difficult skills in round three, the team was able to put on a strong performance to finish the competition. The Golden Eagles took 3rd place and 2nd place in their division.
Saturday the team traveled to Western High School for the Western Panther Invitational. The team’s focus on energy and passion was evident and they were able to secure a 2nd place finish and trophy.
CCVC competes again on Tuesday at East Jackson High School for the Cascades Conference Final at 6pm.
