The CC Robotics team is competing at Saginaw Valley State University this weekend and will be participating in the FIRST in Michigan State Championship!

The prom is being held at Cascades Manor on May 4th from 8-11 pm. As in years past, After Prom will be held at the school from 11 pm - 2 am. You must attend prom to attend After Prom.
Important Information-
*Prom tickets are $50.00 each and are sold at B-lunch daily. They can also be purchased from Mrs. Hall in the office during the school day.
*Students MUST have their digital student ID set up to enter prom and after prom. NO EXCEPTIONS. QR codes around the school can be scanned to set up their account. All students have also been sent this information in their email.
*Students bringing a guest from another school must fill out a Guest Form and return it to the office no later than May 2nd.
*JBL Bridal will return to the school again this year on April 16th from 11:30 am - 1 pm to assist students interested in renting a suit or tux. They will assist in picking out the garment & taking measurements, and accepting payment at the school. Tux drop-off will also be at the school on Monday, May 6th. JBL Bridal is also having a prom dress special.



We are excited to announce Callaghan's Coffee will be back on Friday, April 5th 7am-9am. They will be located in the student parking lot. While dropping off your students, please feel free to stop over and get your morning beverage. ☕

Thursday, March 21st is a half day of school with dismissal at 11 AM. There is no Jackson Area Career Center for Columbia Central students tomorrow due to our half-day.

Congratulations to Isabella for participating in the USAG State Championship Gymnastics meet this weekend. She competed in all events and placed 1st on Beam and 2nd on Vault. She took 3rd place All-Around as Level 9 Michigan State Champion. In addition, she has qualified to go to Regionals, which will take place next month! Way to go Isabella!! We are so proud of your hard work and success!


The Academic Games Team participated in the 49th annual Academic Games Super Tournament in Ann Arbor this past weekend. Both the High School Junior team and the Junior High Middle team took home trophies. The high school team won a bronze trophy for the Presidents Game and the junior high team earned third place in their division playing the On-Sets Game! We are so proud of your hard work and success! Way to go CC!

The Golden Gears won the FIRST Impact Award at the Muskegon event!
The FIRST Impact Award is the most prestigious award at FIRST, it honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST. It was created to keep the focus of FIRST Robotics Competition on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encouraging more of today’s youth to become science and technology leaders.
