August Outdoor Summer Camps Columbia School District is hosting outdoor summer camps Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9 am- 10 am at the CCJr.-Sr.HS football field. Any child that is entering K- 6th grade may attend the camps. The cost is $5 a day for the first child and $3 a day for each child after. You may pay with cash or checks payable to Columbia School District. Each week will have a different theme. Week 1 will be Hawaiian themed week and Week 2 will be an Olympic themed week. We will be following CDC Guidelines so please plan on your child staying at least 6ft apart from others and bring your own water, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, etc. Masks will be optional. IRIS KLOTZ Iris has been Volunteering here since June of 2016. She came on board and started working the Front Desk this past October. Her hobbies include taking her Dog on walks, she enjoys arts and crafts and she loves attending the concerts at the Potter Center. Her husband and her also sponsor a child from a different country and she enjoys writing the little girl. Her motto in life, " Be happy, be the best you can and help people whenever you can." She wants the members to know that once you start coming on a daily basis and you get into a groove it gets easier and you start seeing results and feeling better about yourself. So don't give up!!! Columbia School District will treat an area around the High School Football complex for mosquitoes prior to the Junior Varsity Football Game on Thursday, September 26, 2019. The company supplying the treatment is Gleenblade One out of Addision. They are registered with Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD). Treatment will be in the morning on Thursday. Please be advised that community members will be prohibited from entering the treated area until school is dismissed at 2:30 p.m.
