CSD will continue to provide meals to all students. Meal pick up will be today, 11/18, at the high school (in the drop off loop in front of the office) from 10am to 11am for all students. Due to the holiday next week, this will be an 8-day meal pickup. The next meal pickup will be on December 2nd.

Reminder: Tomorrow, Friday, 9/18/2020, will be a virtual Learn at Home day for all COHS students.

Effective immediately, Columbia School District will now be offering free breakfast and lunch to all students in all of our schools including virtual students. This program will run until December 31st, or until USDA funds run out. We will notify families when the program ends. Any money that students have already paid for meals this year will be refunded back to their accounts.

Tonight the Columbia School Board considered a suggestion from the administration to join some other districts in Jackson County by attending school for half days this week. The superintendent and a representative of the Columbia Education Association, agreed to alter the school calendar by scheduling half days on Thursday and Friday, in addition to our traditional Wednesday half day. Not only will this address the affects of the heat on children wearing masks while riding busses, it will give our teachers an opportunity to review and reflect their first days of school.

You might qualify for free or reduced lunch! Go online to lunchapp.com to complete the form today. The process is easier, shorter and has a faster response time! We would like to avoid handling paper copies due to the spread of Covid-19. If you do not have access to the Internet, please feel free to turn in a paper copy. We are looking forward to seeing your students smiling faces!
