The Golden Eagle Grapplers finished the regular season with some excitement. The conference tournament went well with five wrestlers placing in the top 4, highlighted by Tommy Ronders taking 1st place. Blake Ellison, Noah King, Zak Osgood, and Noah Eisenman were the other placers.

This past Sunday was the first Girls Wrestling State Championships for the state of Michigan. Mercaydeez Scott was the lone representative for the Golden Eagles. She pinned her first three opponents in the first period, and then faught the entire 6 minute match to claim an11-4 final score to become the first individual wrestling state champion for Columbia Central in over 30 years. Congratulations Mercaydeez.

The wrestlers will go to Jonesville to try and win their first team district title in 11 years.
