Good Afternoon,
I hope you are doing well! Senior Week is just around the corner! We are so excited to make this time memorable for all of you! In the weeks ahead, we will keep you informed with any additional information necessary for the events taking place July 21-24. I have copied the dates and details for the week below as a reminder:
Save the Date, Senior Week:
- Tuesday, July 21-Lifetouch Graduation Photos, Senior Brunch, Student Award Presentation, Decision Day Announcements, Jostens Delivery for caps, gowns, and tassels, Photo sessions by appointment will begin at 8:30 AM and brunch will begin at 10:30 AM. This is a student event and should last until approximately 12:30 PM.
- Wednesday, July 22-Prom-8-11 PM, Columbia Central Jr./Sr. High School
- Thursday, July 23-Baccalaureate-7 PM, Location TBA
- Friday, July 24-Graduation Practice-9:30-11 AM, Graduation-7 PM, Jackson College Potter Center -UPDATE-On June 19, we will make a final determination on the location of our ceremony. We will follow guidance from the State of Michigan and the CDC at the time. If we are required to move the location, the event will be held on July 24 at Columbia Central Jr./Sr. High School.
We are aware some students may be leaving before July 24 for military service, collegiate requirements, or other responsibilities. We are so proud of you and will plan to honor you and your accomplishments at these events. Please contact the high school office if you need to pick up your diploma, cap and gown early due to this circumstance.
In the coming weeks, Seniors will be receiving letters indicating any scholarships they have been awarded and/or other recognition they may have received. We plan to celebrate all of these achievements on July 21 at our Senior Brunch.
